Comparative Education Society of India (CESI) is looking for a self-motivated and diligent Copy Editor for its flagship journal Comparative Education Studies (CES). The appointment will be on contract basis.

Comparative Education Studies (CES) is the flagship journal of the Comparative Education Society of India (CESI). This biannual journal intends to provide a forum for scholars, practitioners, policy-makers and academicians to engage with wide spectrum of educational processes and practices. This newly launched journal seeks to achieve and maintain quality standards and to reach wider readerships.
Job Description
The Copy Editor will be expected to assist the editorial board with proofreading, editing and formatting as per journal guidelines. The Copy Editor will be expected to ensure that the articles cleared for publication are free of errors (grammatical and formatting related).
As the Journal is at its initial stages, freelance Copy Editors might find it suitable for their job- profile.
Eligibility
Academic: Degree in English, Translation studies, Media and related areas.
Desirable: Relevant experience with journals.
